Terms of Service

These terms are between you and DFW AI Education, operating from Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. Where they say “we” or “us”, that is who they mean. Where they say “you”, that is whoever is using the site — and if you are setting it up for a child, it means you as the responsible adult.

By creating an account or paying for anything, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the paid parts of the site. The free material stays free either way.

An online education platform: a levelled curriculum, printable Life Skills guides, tutoring material for children, video lessons, live classes, and a free service that reviews messages you think might be a scam. We also sell website, automation and consulting work to businesses under separate written agreements, which these terms do not cover.

We change and add to the material continuously. That is the point of the platform, and it means a specific lesson or feature may be revised, replaced or retired. We will not remove something you separately paid for without telling you.

Give us an email address you actually read — it is how we send your receipts, your Scam Shield verdicts, and anything that matters. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Accounts are for one person. A parent may create profiles for their own children inside their account; those profiles are not separate accounts and the parent stays responsible for them.

Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has got into your account. We would far rather help you early.

Much of what we teach is for children, and we are glad of it. But an account belongs to an adult. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must set the account up and agree to these terms on your behalf.

What we collect about a child, and what a parent can do about it, is set out in our Privacy Policy. Please read that part specifically before adding a child.

The subscription is $8.00 a month or $65.00 a year, in US dollars. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, and the price is shown before you pay. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.

Some Academy courses are one-off purchases rather than part of the subscription. Where that is the case, the price is on the course.

If a renewal payment fails, we do not lock you out straight away. Your bank is retried for about two weeks, you keep your access during that time, and we tell you on the subscribe page so you can update your card. If it never succeeds, the subscription ends.

Scam Shield is free, needs no account, and is reviewed by a person. We will tell you plainly whether we think a message is a scam and what gave it away.

It is an opinion, not a guarantee, and it is not financial or legal advice. A well-built scam can pass every check we make, and we may be wrong. We will never tell you a message is definitely safe, because nobody honestly can. The final decision about your own money is always yours.

If money has already left your account, do not wait for us — call your bank’s fraud line immediately. We say so on the form itself, and we mean it.

Do not send us passwords, full card numbers, or verification codes. We do not need them and nobody legitimate ever will.

Our Life Skills guides cover practical subjects including plumbing, electrical work, vehicles and first aid. They are general education, not professional advice, and codes and rules vary by city.

Every guide names the jobs that belong to a licensed professional. Those lists are there for a reason. Please treat them as instructions rather than suggestions.

Please do not:

• share your login so other people can use one subscription
• copy, resell or redistribute our lessons, guides or worksheets outside your own household or classroom
• attempt to reach parts of the site you have not paid for, or to break the site for anyone else
• upload anything unlawful, or anybody else’s personal information without their agreement
• use the site to harass anyone, or to build or improve a scam

Teachers, librarians and community organisers: printing our free material for the people you serve is exactly what it is for, and is not a breach of this section.

The lessons, guides, games, worksheets and the site itself remain ours. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for as long as it is active, and to keep any PDF you downloaded while it was.

What you write stays yours — your answers, your notes, anything you submit. You give us permission to store and display it back to you, which is what makes the platform work. We do not sell it.

We aim to keep the site up and will not pretend it never breaks. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may take it down for maintenance. Free services in particular are offered as they are.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with the site is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We are not liable for money you lose to a scam, whether or not you used Scam Shield first, and whether or not our assessment turned out to be wrong. Nor are we liable for the outcome of work you do after reading a Life Skills guide.

Nothing here limits liability for anything the law does not permit us to limit, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You may stop using the site at any time and cancel from the subscribe page or by emailing us.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 8, or that we reasonably believe is being used to defraud someone. If we do that to a paying account and you have not broken these terms, we will refund the unused part of the period.

When we change these terms materially, we will update the effective date at the top and, if you have an account, email you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes belong to the courts of Texas.

Before that, please just email us. Almost everything is fixable in a conversation, and we would rather have it.
